June 1, 2020 – Southland Energy recently announced that it has been selected for an Energy Services Company (ESCO) award by the Oregon Department of Energy and is now pre-qualified to be able to perform comprehensive energy, waste management, and associated capital improvements for state and local agencies including cities, municipalities, state institutions, school districts, public universities, and other state-owned buildings.
In Oregon, state agencies that want to use an Energy Services Performance Contract (ESPC) for energy services work are required to use a firm from the pre-qualified list of ESCOs. As a selected ESCO, Southland Energy is able to perform work in partnership with local Southland companies, TCM and Envise, providing energy services for Oregon government entities.
Already a national ESCO, Southland Energy is now able to execute comprehensive energy, waste management, and associated capital improvements as well as infrastructure upgrades for Oregon state agencies.
“This is a great opportunity for Southland Energy and our other Southland Companies, TCM and Envise, to support the energy needs of the state of Oregon. We’re excited to be established as an ESCO in Oregon and to bring our experience as a national ESCO home.” – Dan Heichelbech, President of TCM
The ESCO award went into effect in May of 2020 and is valid for two years with options for renewal. For all Oregon-related, state projects, please contact Trevor Marugg, Senior Account Consultant, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 503.488.1780.
